| One of the biggest winners of the 2007 Draft.
It cost them future picks, but Cleveland landed two top
first round talents in All-Americans Joe Thomas and
Brady Quinn. With Quinn at QB, and Thomas protecting
his blindside, the future of Cleveland's offense looks very
bright. Kudos to Romeo & Company. In round two, Cleveland
unwisely opted for Eric Wright. While CB was a major
need, Wright has some major character issues and there were
other CBs available with his level of talent. Cleveland's
only significant day two addition was that of DE Mel
Purcell, a physical and quick End for Cleveland's 3-4
front. If Cleveland added any significant talent beyond
their selections of Thomas and Quinn, their overall Draft
grade would have been an A. |
